McDonald’s is selling real fruit smoothies. With real people. Real, cold people.

All over St. Louis, ‘smoothie people’ were frozen in-place in the middle of hundred-degree plus temperatures, causing other people to stop in their tracks to figure out what was going on.

Once they figured it out, passersby (or in this case stoppersby?) were awarded a coupon for a free smoothie.

More than 4,500 coupons were given away. And a handy-dandy video was put together to show how it played out.
