The Little Campaign That Could

The Kidnapped Chicagoan just nabbed five Adrian Awards. And despite winning three golds, we didn’t just cut and paste the news from the previous Missouri Tourism story.

In fact, the two campaigns couldn’t be more different. The Kidnapped Chicagoan relied heavily on transit posters that drove people to an interactive website which featured videos and tons of content from the “victim.” If you haven’t seen it or heard enough about it, check it out.

The Adrians are awarded annually, “recognizing excellence in marketing communications programs created for hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, destinations, credit card companies and more.” (Okay, that part was totally lifted from the other story.)

The website, the social media campaign and the sweepstakes part of the campaign each took a gold medal. Those three pieces will also compete for Platinum Adrian Awards at the same gala in New York.
